C++ Developer

Barclay's Investment Banking Division are urgently looking for a C++ Developer to join their FICC technology group. You will be working on the banks market leading BARX FX trading platform, where you will be involved in a number of projects. The projects will be a mix of enhancements to existing systems, new development projects, and system decommissioning projects. The successful candidate must have an extensive C++ Development background, and must have strong experience writing Real Time, multi threaded applications on Linux/Solaris. You will need to have strong SQL and/or Oracle Database skills, and have past experience working on multi-tier enterprise systems, which have a high frequency messaging element. Any exposure to Tibco, Talarian, Solace, or MQ Middleware messaging technologies is also needed. I preference would be given to any candidates with Investment Banking backgrounds, but anyone who has previous experience working for a large scale Financial Services organisation would be considered.
