CAPITA SECURE INFORMATION SOLUTIONS is a leading supplier and developer of communications and IT systems across the Public Safety and Criminal Justice sectors. They are seeking to recruit an experience C++ developer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of 20 software developers and database engineers to assist in the design, implementation and support of new functions for their DSx000 products including the user interface. The DSx000 Integrated Communication Control System (ICCS) is the market leading system in the Police, Fire and Ambulance services. The ICCS provides control room users with a single touch screen interface to control telephony, analogue and digital radio, recording, CCTV and other control room equipment.

The role is primarily a development role but will also involve supporting other developers, test, support and implementation engineers as well as contributing to the support and development of other DSx000 applications. The different components of the application are written in C, C++ and C#, on a windows based platform.

Ideally, our DEVELOPERS require prior experience working on multi-node, high availability or Real Time systems. With this we are looking for a DEVELOPER with extensive, proven experience with all of the following technologies:

- C++
- Managed C++
- C#
- .Net
- Windows 7/Server 2008

In addition, experience of the following is also desirable:

- C
- Silverlight
- TETRA Radio Systems
- SQL

As an individual, we need someone who is a good team player and able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written word, including presentations and demonstrations. You must also be willing and eligible to undergo NPPV vetting if successful.
