C# Developer

IT Alliance, an IT Managed Services and Outsourcing Company, are looking to hire a C# Developer with 2-5 years' experience on behalf of a large multinational software company based in Dublin South. The successful candidate will work as part of an existing and established team who are responsible for the development of large software projects whilst maintaining the build process to support the tools and systems. The technical challenges are vast and exciting, whilst providing the candidates with ample opportunity to increase and enhance their technical skills especially within the Microsoft space. Employees will receive both on the job training and will attend courses as part of their career development plan. The ideal candidate should have a recognized third level IT qualification with a passion for Programing/Software Development or relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

- Programming in languages such as C# and .Net.
- Systems design of new tools and features and documenting all of this in a Development plan.
- Attending online meetings and conference calls with the US development team.
- Working closely with core product Developers and Project Managers to improve the quality of the products.
- Fixing bugs, breaks and attending triage meetings.
- Complete the work according to schedule.
- Ensure the quality of work is at its optimum.

Requirements:

- Must have a third level Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have 2-5 years' experience in software development experience using C# and .Net.
- Working knowledge of SQL would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Visual Studio.
- Knowledge and experience of a Scripting language, Perl, Ruby or JavaScript.
- Must have an ability to adopt and follow best practices.
- Must be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Must have excellent analytical and communication skills.
