C# / C++ Developer

***C#, C++, SQL, WINDOWS, DEVELOPER***

EXPERIENCED C# AND C++ DEVELOPER REQUIRED FOR AN EXCITING CLIENT FACING ROLE IN CHESTER TO WORK WITH A LEADING SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT HOUSE FOR 12 MONTHS.

This particular project will be focussing on working on software for the Nuclear, Gas and Oil Industries. Experience in this sector is beneficial and security clearance will be needed due to the senior level of the projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Report into the IT manager and communicate on a regular basis with the Development team
- Serve as the main Developer on the project
- Liaise with the IT Manager and Lead Developer on the design, build and progress of the project
- Ensure consistent and quality driven coding with C# and C++
- Be expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and communicate "out of the box" ideas to the team
- Have previous experience in the delivery of new systems and the maintenance of previous existing ones
- Have at least 4 years commercial experience
- Run and contribute to regular daily scrums
- Create a healthy code base for the initial development of the project
- Deliver the full lifecycle of the project
- Report regularly to senior management on the progress of the project

SKILLS:

- As the successful C# / C++ developer you will have a varied and exciting role;
- Experience with in Windows networking
- A history or working to an agile methodology with TDD and BDD would be highly beneficial as the client is very keen to bring best practice to the organisation
- A background of SQL Server work
- You will be a natural communicator who is comfortable with working on multiple, concurrent tasks on a project, the ideal candidate will have previous experience and be confident in a client facing role
- You MUST have Security clearance for this role due to the nature of some projects.
- Prior experience of Developing C# / C++ Software in the Nuclear, Gas or Oil Industries would be highly beneficial
