C# Backend Developer

We are currently looking for a C# Backend Developer for one of our most prestigious financial clients in Basel
YOUR TASKS:
- PoC and potential implementation of an enhancement to the Credit Risk Measurement system (CRM, the most critical system in Risk Management) to automatically book credit exposures for cash settlement failures
- Enhance the aforementioned CRM system to include additional settlement risk mitigation techniques in the measurement of credit risk
- Update the automated external rating retrieval system to support v4 of the S&P ratings feed
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:
- Excellent C# knowledge with at least 5 years of experience, ideally including WPF, WCF and WEB API
- Desire for high code quality and architecture, utilizing techniques such as refactoring, automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery and pair programming
- Experience working in an agile collaborative environment, taking responsibility for delivery and striving for continuous improvement
- Knowledge of financial instruments and risk measurement a plus
- Fluent in English
The role is English speaking - German is nice to have but not mandatory. Based in Basel, the contract will be an initial 5 months, with the potential to extend beyond this.
