Salary/Hourly: BOE! (Client is willing to pay for the right person)

Travel: 25%. Mostly onsite at office, but will visit clients occasionally and may be out of state.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The C# ASP.NET Developer/Architect will be designing new software products for robustness and scalability, helping with planning, scoping, and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, and developing Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions. The C# ASP.NET Developer/Architect will be planning the refactoring and re-architecting of existing software, working with other architects to identify and create common reusable components, and also apply test-driven development principles and architecting testable solutions.

The ideal candidate will need to have excellent knowledge of the .NET platform and C# language, strong experience with relational databases, strong experience with web technologies including JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, and CSS, solid understanding of current software design principles and concepts, and actively practice extreme programming principals.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

6+ years' experience architecting and programming multi-tier ASP.NET applications in C#.

NServiceBus development experience is a MUST.

BS in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Advanced degree is a plus.
