C# ASP.NET Developer

C# ASP.NET DEVELOPER - CONTRACT ROLE 6 MONTHS.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM BASED IN BAKER STREET REQUIRE A C# ASP.NET DEVELOPER. LOOKING FOR A SENIOR ENGINEER THAT IS PROJECT DRIVEN. THIS IS A FANTASTIC ROLE THAT WILL LAST FOR A MINIMUM SIX MONTH CONTRACT. EXCITING WEB BASED WORK TO BE GETTING ON WITH.

Our IT department based in our Head Office are currently looking to recruit a Software Engineer, within this role you would be responsible for contributing to software development, maintenance of internal web applications, technical design, coding and testing. You will also be responsible for providing technical support to clients and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE C# DEVELOPER:

We are currently looking for an IT professional who will ideally have a Computer Science/IT degree or equivalent.

YOU WILL REQUIRE AN EXCELLENT UNDERSTANDING OF THE FOLLOWING:

C# 4.0 or higher, ASP.NET Web Forms, LINQ & EF, SQL Server 2008/2008 R2, T-SQL, Visual Studio.NET 2010/2012, IIS 7/7.5, jQuery/JavaScript. It would also be beneficial, but not essential, to have an understanding of MVC, TeamCity, Subversion and Agile Software Development.

You will ideally have an understanding of the latest trends in software architecture and development tools, with experience in the localisation/globalisation of websites and have a knowledge of the development process (specifically C#), including compilation/building, coding standards, source control and unit testing.
