ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a C#/ASP.NET Developer for a Contract opportunity in Irving, TX. The C#/ASP.NET Developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing new/existing applications.  The C#/ASP.NET Developer will write enhancement code that will be implemented in a production environment to manage and/or resolve systems issues/functionality.  The technical development environment will include: C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005/2008 and T-SQL for Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Joins, Tables, and Indexes, etc.  The C#/ASP.NET Developer will interface and work with Third Party Vendors/Technical Support Teams to resolve issues and trouble tickets.  The C#/ASP.NET Developer will be responsible for software testing prior to software/application implementation within a production environment.  Additionally, the C#/ASP.NET Developer will interface with Internal/External Business Users to help understand and define their business requirements.

- Manage/Plan/Prioritize Programming Projects Effectively

- Read/Analyze/Interpret Business Periodicals/Journals/Technical Procedures, etc.
- Assess and Define Issues/Collect Data/Establish Facts/Draw and Execute Valid Conclusions

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience in the following skill sets

- C#/and ASP.NET 3.5/4.0 Web Development
- Classic ASP/VB.NET for Legacy Application Maintenance/Support
- XML - Extensible Markup Language
- XSL - Extensible Stylesheets Language
- SQL Server 2005/2008 - T-SQL/Stored Procedures/One-Time SQL Queries, etc.
- MS Excel - Spreadsheets/Macros/Pivot Tables, etc.
- MS Office Suite - Word/Access/PowerPoint/Outlook, etc.

PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

- Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science-Related Fields (HIGHLY preferred)
- 3rd Party Product Support Management
