Lead C++ Algo Trading Developer - Investment Banking -London- £90k

Focussed on growing their algorithmic trading team, my key client, a tier 1 investment bank, are looking to hire a lead developer for their European Algo team. Working on cutting edge trading platforms, this is an outstanding opportunity for a specialist with substantial economic reward.

If successful, you will be responsible for:

* The core Algo framework, smart order routing and market data components.
* Defining and improving C++ trading strategy.
* Working very closely with the business - traders and Quants.
* Mentoring junior members of the team.

To be considered for this brilliant role, you must be:

* Very strong with C++ on both Windows and Unix/Linux
* Experienced with low latency, high throughput electronic trading systems.
* Experienced with Smartsockets, Reuters or KDB.
* Any further business knowledge of equities, futures or options would be greatly beneficial.
