C# .NET Developer

Proteus Europe is searching for C# .NET developer to work with Microsoft based Technologies and Architectures within the finance industry. This is a 12 Month contract role with extension; based in Brussels, Belgium.

Languages:

- Good command of English (corporate working language)
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus

Rate: €400-€425 per day depending on experience

Our Client:

Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.

Your Skills and experience:

Essential Skills:

Background:

- University degree in IT or equivalent experience;
- At least 5 years spent in an application development function, having worked on complex business logic applications;
- Functional or technical background in the Banking/Finance sector is a plus.

Technical skills:

Hands-on expertise in the following technologies is required: 

- .NET 4+ technologies (C#, WCF, Linq,)
- High volume RDMS (generic SQL, T-SQL)
- Unit testing (VS Test, xUnit), integration testing (CI tools)
- Automated deployment tools (Infrastructure as Code)
- Application security
- SOA and microservices architecture

Hands-on expertise in the following technologies is nice to have:

- No-SQL
- Generic open source solutions for various standard tasks like logging, etc

Desirable Skills:

Methodology:

- Agile/Scrum methodology (nice to have)

Soft skills:

- Team player.
- Good analytical, integrative mindset;
- Ability to quickly understand complex matters;
- Good communication skills within a multi-cultural environment;
- Solution oriented;
