On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a C#/.NET Developer. For this 12months contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Provide task-analysis and estimates, prototypes and proof-of-concepts as part of the analysis process
- Collaborate with IT colleagues globally
- Support and lead the software development life cycle including technical design, documentation, software development, unit testing & production implementation
- Production support of existing application
- Share C#/.Net and SQL development know-how

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- 7+ years professional development experience
- Expertise know-how in C#/.Net (WCF/WPF)
- Good experience of SOA principles, OO concepts and design patterns
- Good understanding of Test automation
- Ability to write complex database queries using T-SQL
- Work experience in the financial environment
- Fluent in English
