C#/.NET Developer

C#, .NET, SQL, OO, Software developer, 6 Months, Cheshire, £250 - £350 p/day

After winning another new project, this utilities client based in Cheshire have a requirement coming up in the next 4 weeks for an experienced C#/NET, developer who is also competent with object oriented analysis and design concepts. You will be highly motivated to meet project deadlines. You will work directly with the other members of the technical team to perform requirements, design, technical design, build, unit test, system test, and support user acceptance test for a new internal web project.

You will be responsible for participating in the design and development of multi-tier distributed applications in a Windows / Internet environment. Gathering requirements, preparing functional specifications, forming project plans, and communicating progress throughout the software

Your technical expertise;
* 5+ years of application development using C# .NET
* SQL queries
* UI development - HTML/JavaScript - Web site creation using DHTML/HTML, CSS

Ideally you will also have exposure to;
* WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and/or Silverlight
* WinForms
* XML
* Experience creating and consuming web services
* Three-tier architecture, objected oriented analysis and design, and UML
* SharePoint Designer and Web Part development / deployment
