BW SOLUTIONS DESIGNER

My Client in Belgium is currently hiring for a BW Solutions Designer for a long term contract.

Requirement:-

- Has full technical responsibility for the success of the chosen design, construction, application and integration into the client BI systems (SAP BW/BPC).
- You are responsible for projects and maintenance of our SAP BW, BPC and IP environment:
- You capture and analyze its reporting/planning needs with business representatives.
- Based on the report rings/planning needs, you work it out according to the data model (client BI regulations). Here you make the correct evaluation from what the standard business content can be delivered.
- Starting from an analysis you are responsible for the technical implementation of the BW documents and hereby provides the necessary transport requests.
- You will design and build IP or BPC models and ensure smooth integration with BW substructure. Even the design of input screens and/or reports are part of the responsibilities.
- You check the work carried out on the basis of a pre-defined test plan.
- You make sure that the correct parameters are monitored within our monitoring so that any errors will be immediately apparent that the agreed service levels can be achieved.
- You keep the documentation up to date.
- You are responsible for the successful implementation of requested changes (Maintenance).
- You are responsible for the life cycle management and updates/upgrades of existing BW/IP/BPC environment.

OTHER TASKS:

- You will assist and advise the BI team and project to solve technical issues.
- You will assist the other solution designers at Maintenance and project assignments.
- Based on your expertise you make improvement proposals within the SAP BW/IP/BPC framework ".

EXPECTED KNOWLEDGE:-

- In-depth knowledge of the SAP data warehouse tools, SAP BW 4.7 and SAP BW/BO reporting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of IP and BPC 10.1 Consolidation and more specifically, is an absolute requirement.
- Good knowledge of ABAP, R3 extractors, SAP BW data warehousing and monitoring functionalities.
- Knowledge of SAP BO reporting tools Design Studio and SAP Lumira is required, knowledge of Web Application Designer is a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle as a source system to BW and/or knowledge of R3 modules (FI, CO, ISU, HR) as a source system to BW.
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes and how these can be used to ensure the service levels.
- Knowledge of BI data warehouse architecture aspects like the different layers.
- Good knowledge of Dutch.

EXPECTED EXPERIENCE:-

- Minimum 5 years overall BI experience.
- Minimum 5 years' "SAP BW" "&" "SAP Business Explorer" "experience.
- Minimum 4 years experience in the '' IP '' tools and " BPC ".
- More than five years experience in the ICT world.
- Working knowledge of SAP Utilities is a major plus.
- Practical ABAP knowledge is a plus.
- Practical experience in setting up and using the SAP/IP/BPC monitoring tools within a monitoring landscape.
- Basic knowledge of project methodology. "
