MY DUTIES:

-Drive overall strategies to ensure cost saving through following phases of PPG (procurement perspective): idea generation and screening, concept development/ testing, analysis, product development, commercialization and industrialization
-Drive PDM (price decision making) approach and target on-time cost at BOM, establish PPG reporting to provide status on all global projects - e.g. on time PO placement, PPAP and critical supplier topics for PPG
-Drive early involvement and design to cost activities, align sourcing activities with joint ventures
-Conduct cross functional sourcing boards for alignment and final sourcing approvals
-Drive an early engagement to arrive at a competitive cost and work towards design to cost (a bottom – up focused approach)
-Drive on-time BOM with the required specification based on market nuances
-Conduct workshops related to competitor due-diligence, supplier market analysis to cultivate an outward approach within the organization
-Design, develop and implement capacity development model for PPG from a procurement perspective
-Drive and ensure customer group expectation in different regions ensuring program profitability
-Team with internal experts and industry leaders to interpret market trends for the selection of short and long term partnerships that yield a competitive advantage

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Overall experience in PPG focused regional specific role
-Specialist in product BOM evaluation
-Launch readiness support
-Strong market knowledge to drive innovative insights
-Robust/self-starter with passion for technology and entrepreneurial approach
-Fluent English skills
-Open to travel across the region
