BUYER - PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT - GERMAN OR FRENCH SPEAKER
Location: Ireland
Rate: 30-50 Euros Per Hour
AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN WITH A GLOBAL BRAND FOR A BUYER/PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT TO JOIN A GLOBAL BRAND ON A CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT.
ROLE:
Buyer fluent in German or French to provide Purchasing activity support to Category Managers.
This includes but is not limited to:
-
Day to day management of converting requisitions to official purchase orders
-
Placement of orders with vendors and following up with vendors on pricing, lead-time etc
-
Resolving receiving and accounts payable issues
-
Obtaining quotes and negotiating with suppliers
-
Assisting with RFQ generation and data analytics
-
Interacting frequently with vendors and customers for day-to-day activities under Category Manager direction
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Familiar with basic business principles and concepts.
-
Prior Procurement experience essential.
-
Able to understand and satisfy customer needs with direction.
-
Good organizational and time management skills.
-
Detail oriented and able to work under time pressure.
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-
A self-starter who exhibits a high level of initiative and ability to learn quickly in a fast paced, demanding work environment.
-
Exercises judgment and seeks support from Category Manager as required.
-
Works under the direction of manager for high impact decisions.
-
Gathers information and assists with the evaluation of vendors with the Category Manager.
-
Receives direct and frequent supervision while working on projects owned by others.
