Buyer/Planner

SUMMARY

- Create and maintain site manufacturing production schedule to meet commercial demand while optimizing output and minimizing downtime.
- Purchase adequate quantities of raw materials to supply production and comprise safety stock.
- In conjunction with Site Procurement Lead, manage and follow up on all raw material and vendor issues.
- Communicate clearly and concisely across departments on matters ranging from material shortages and rejections to schedule changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain current Production Schedule and Extended Planning Schedule
- Generate raw material reports, analyze material shortages and assess risks
- Create and place purchase orders for rawor equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous work experience working in a cGMP environment.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

- 3-5 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of cGMP compliance.
- Outstanding problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, establish priorities, and multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word Excel and Powerpoint).
