Buyer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Berkeley, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Previous experience as a Buyer
- Excellent SAP and communication skills
- Experience in category management

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Supports Procurement Specialists and Manager with data entry, SAP, SharePoint/share drive systems, spread sheet development and analysis, supplier contacts/communication
- Responsible for category management of "tail end" spend such as lab supplies, packaging, MRO

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS/BA; High School Diploma or Equivalent experience
- Previous experience (3 - 5 years) as a Buyer preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech company
- Excellent SAP and communication skills as well as diligent attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a complex environment

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in procurement and materials management
- In-depth knowledge of lab supplies, packaging and MRO
