The purpose of this position is to manage procurement activities for the UK IS Services category from "Source to Award" and post contract contract management. The Buyer IS Services is responsible for supporting the total spend of the UK IS Services category. The IS Services category typically has a spend ranging up to £70m per annum. The role will work within a team of procurement professionals or lead procurement expertise within the IS Services Category and serve as a primary interface with the line of business for day to day activities. While the primary responsibility is for a IS Services, the incumbents will be asked to support other IS categories, as needed.

Strong knowledge of the IS Services; to include:
*Deep understanding of category management or equivalent Line of Business experience of IS Services *Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing processes
*Effective negotiation skills
*Effective contract management of suppliers
*Proficient in stakeholder management and communications
*Proficient in using analytical tools and techniques
*Effective presentation skills
*Able to work across all functions and levels of an organisation
*Ability to define and measure benefits, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
*An understanding of the market/supplier dynamics in the IS Services area
