Buyer/Capex Category Sourcing Consulting

PURPOSE OF THE MISSION (PROJECT & DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION)

- Define the best procurement strategy in the earliest stage of project in order to optimize cost, quality and project timing
- Reduce total cost of ownership of production equipment (including maintenance)
- Ensure that tools & strategies are implemented to meet business targets, customers' expectations, compliance requirements, and total cost effectiveness, in accordance with project constraints
- Develop strong interface with network of internal customers (including engineering department) in order to implement the procurement processleveraging past experience/industry knowledge to continuously motivate change outside area of direct responsibility
- Manage procurement aspects of projects with multiple clients (manufacturing sites)
- Deal with complex sourcing, logistics and quality issues in a fast track environment.

PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support for Capital Expenditure (Capex) & Maintenance (Opex) Procurement on the category
- Identify potential suppliers and market opportunities
- Lead supplier due diligence (financial, risk) and performance evaluation
- Lead market tenders (including preparation, supplier negotiations, operational and administrative tasks, recommendation). Ensure key project drivers are successfully met and compliance with the Procurement process
- Formalize and submit sourcing strategies
- Ensure effective Contract Management until projects hand-over, including challenging claims/scope changes negotiations
- Support Suppliers Relationship Management (SRM) for the category (Business Review Meetings, performance evaluation, continuous improvement plans follow-up)
- Develop & deploy global framework agreements for equipment purchase and life cycle servicing (maintenance).

Required Experience & Knowledge

Strong in negotiations

- Experience in sourcing processes and strategic sourcing
- Synthesis and analytical skills, ability to extract key information from complex set of data
- Result, value and performance oriented,
- Fluent in French and English

EDUCATION, METHODOLOGY & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Education: Engineering or Commercial Master, Master in Procurement
