Buyer - (39095) - Automotive - Contract - £23 per hour - Essex

A Buyer is required for Transportation Services including Product Development, Prototype Components; Transportation Operations (TOPs) support services and Durable Container Management Services. This is a minimum of 12 months contract to work with a market leading car manufacturer based in Essex.

Our client, a global automotive OEM based in Essex and requires a Buyer to work within a global team.

The Buyer should have the following skills:

* Strong analytical and negotiation skills essential.
* Good interpersonal, team working, time management skills
* Communication skills, both written and oral
* Computer literate with PC based systems. Thorough working knowledge of MS Office is essential.
* Previous purchasing experience

Education Required:

* Educated to at least A-Level standard or equivalent. Education will be assessed in conjunction with experience

Education Preferred:

* Educated to degree level, in a relevant field or subject, is desirable

* A long term contract with a realistic chance of extension
* Contract pay rate of £23 per hour
