Buyer £18 ph Rochester, Kent

Defence contractor require an experienced buyer to support the Procurement and Purchasing team. Processing requisitions, purchase orders and negotiating with Vendors. 6 months. £18 ph, Rochester

The successful candidate will have previous buying experience The Buyer role will include the need to help develop good relationships with key stakeholders across every business function on site.

The successful candidate will be required to process requisitions, adhere to Purchasing Quality Management System, deal with and place orders with suppliers using the procurement system and feedback to the business. To be considered for this role applicants must have buying experience, be security clear-able (be a UK resident for the last 5 years) and be an excellent communicator.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a true blue chip client where contractors on average stay for several years. Based in Rochester for 6 months (initially) £18 ph
