Supply Chain Engineer

Location: Peterlee

Rate: Dependent upon PAYE/Ltd Co.

During an exciting period of growth and due to changes in product structure there is the requirement to set up a new supply chain structure to accommodate an NPI project.

You will be responsible for the execution of initial RFQ's and non-disclosure agreements and with other members of the procurement division will set up the supply chain for this new product launch. On boarding in the region of 60 vendors across multiple commodities your proficiency in supplier engagement, prioritisation and communication will enable you to succeed.

Engaging with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement you will support to purchasing and logistics to ensure a robust supply chain.

Candidate
With experience within a purchasing, procurement or logistics role you will appreciate the supplier selection process and be able to effectively liaise with and manage a range of suppliers.

You will be organised, with a desire to progress your career within procurement. You should demonstrate the capability to forge and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with a view to driving improvements across the Legacy and NPI supply chain.
