Buyer

The Buyer provides Procurement support to the business, including responding to purchasing requests and obtaining quotations, managing the order book through expediting, running management reports and managing the Procurement Operations team.

* Manage the Procurement Operations Email Inbox and delegate/action any requests.
* Manage Procurement Operations Team, Provide holiday cover
* Manage Detica Order Book
* Process procurement operational activities, including processing Purchase Requisitions
* Assist internal customers with quote requests
* Ensure savings are identified and recorded efficiently
* Order Laptops & Tokens
* Assist with order status information
* Accept/Update/Close tasks daily in Supportworks
* Attend Team Meetings
* Run management information reports as required, including spend data reports.
* Meet with and provide support to internal customers
* Complete and email IS Journal for regular buy items to Finance monthly
* Provide support to Detica Marketing for ad hoc quote requests
* Meet with external suppliers
