You will ensure that products and materials are procured in a timely, cost effective and professional manner to meet contract needs. Requires excellent skills in the coordination of activities of others, both internal and external to the department. Typically must have detailed grasp of work of department, reporting and analysis
Candidate Skills purchasing a range of miscellaneous supplies
- The individual will be following purchasing practice, working with a group of suppliers in order to identify and generate cost savings for the business.
- You will be required to have a good understanding of purchasing principals and practices.
- To be studying for CIPS would be advantageous, but not essential
