Buyer

Purchasing Agent with significant contract negotiation skills is needed for sourcing of consulting services, property services, travel services, information technology services and software. This is a long term Contract Position in Minnesota or can be based in Colorado.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Negotiate all aspects of contracts including pricing terms and boilerplate terms and conditions, and maintain sound supplier relations
- Manage RFX processes in support of various departments and provide guidance on effective sourcing.
- Communicates effectively with Legal department for required legal reviews, departmental requesters, and with suppliers

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Finance or equivalent experience required,CPSM or equivalent certification is desired.
- Skills in the use of purchasing systems (Ventyx PassPort is desired) and Emptoris is used for RFPs and Contracts are a big plus.
- Must be able to review pertinent information in existing contracts in order to provide advice on resolving issues with suppliers
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe and significant experience with purchasing and sourcing systems.
