RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will ensure that all parts needed for the MRO department are available or acquired in a timely manner to support rapid turn around time to the customer
- You will provide the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Administration team with accurate lead time and cost information, and manage MRO Floor Stock Program.
- Keep parts needed by MRO on hand by maintaining needed floor stock inventory levels, develop vendor relations, facilitate transportation to and from receiving inspection, facilitate parts transfers from FN. This will ensure a short process time from quote approval to last part issued. Utilize Kanban aspects of the systems and parts usage history to minimize floor stock inventory to ensure a low value of MRO inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 year degree or equivalent experience.
- APICS training preferred
- 2 years of Inventory control experience
- 1 year purchasing, Inventory Planning, sourcing and Follow up work in an Aerospace environment
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications
- Must be able to understand multi level Bills of Material
- Word and Excel competency
