Busniess Object Senior Consultant - Barcelona

SENIOR BUSINESS OBJECT CONSULTANT

We are seeking a Senior Business Objects Developer to join a leader in the provision of banking software based in Sant Cugat Barcelona for a long term contract.

We are looking for candidates with extensive Business Objects experience along with Sql Server and ETL experience if possible having worked in a corporate banking organisation preferable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for the following:

- Take ownership of strategic new projects and enhancements regionally and globally where required.
- Drive automation of current reporting process via Business Objects and SQL. (Qlikview, Sharepoint, MS Access, Excel, and VBA are all highly desirable but not necessary)

YOU WILL BE TASKED WITH THE FOLLOWING:

- Partnering and working with Client Managers, Compliance and senior managers and technology.
- Leading meetings with senior managers
- Define and build the necessary controls to ensure reporting integrity by comparing against source platforms.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY YOU SHOULD FIT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

- Experienced Business Objects Developer with experience in Banking
- Business intelligence (Business Objects/Designer)
- Strong SQL, Oracle and ETL tools
- Strong Microsoft office suite with VBA Automation (Excel & Access)

Candidate should have good English and Spanish would be an advantage.
