Business Unit Head - Pharmaceutical

Our client is an exciting Pharmaceutical organisation with a requirement for an interim Business Unit Head, covering for a permanent hire.

The position will involve managing a team of both sales & marketing professionals in the office and in the field. There is an existing strategy in place, with a lot of knowledge retained within the senior management team. Whilst there will be a strategic element to this assignment, there is a strong delivery focus - ensuring that marketing plans are effectively delivered and that the sales team are well equipped and motivated to deliver the required results.

This interim resource is required for 4-5 days per week, mostly based in the office but with some domestic travel required.

We are looking for a senior manager with strong sales, marketing and people management skills from the Pharmaceutical industry. The client is flexible on therapy area experience. The right person will be very much a hands-on person, perhaps from a small company or at least small team background.
