Projektbeschreibung
Delivers testing for small/medium projects and/or defined components of large programmes. Will have sound knowledge of the Divisional business processes and systems. May manage a small team. Typical test activities include analysis of requirements, designing test cases and scripts, conducting peer reviews of test scripts, identifying test data and environment needs, test execution, defect management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Attends requirements and design workshops to understand proposed solution. Uses business and divisional knowledge to consider impact on other processes and additional testing needs. Works with business and IT to ensure that the system solutions fully meet business requirements. Uses conceptual knowledge to form recommendations.
- Uses business and technical knowledge to conduct an in-depth review of requirements. Understands different approaches to testing and the associated benefits and selects most appropriate. Produces or contributes to the overall test strategy and master (business ) test plan for the project and is reviewer of all testing documentation.
- Ensures there is a clearly defined testing approach for their area of responsibility and ensure this that is aligned to the overall test strategy and master test plan . Assists management with estimating time and resources required for delivery. Inputs to detailed planning of test execution required. Works with business representatives to ensure that all test preparation deliverables are on track.
- Supports the Test Manager in managing the testing process from project initiation to post implementation review and extended wellness. Monitors progress against the test deliverables plan, identifies slippage and develops strategies to recover. May directly lead a small team.
- Ensures test phases meet predefined entry and exit criteria. Coordinates and executes wellness checks post live and during the warranty period alongside the project team. Ensures that stakeholder sign off is gained for all accountable test deliverables.
- Monitors and reports test progress and status to the appropriate stakeholders (including the Test Manager and Project Manager) on a timely basis including the identification and escalation of key risks and issues and recommends appropriate test solutions. Assists with the maintenance and distribution of the MI reporting suite.
- Develops and maintains effective working and influencing relationships with colleagues. Works collaboratively with their IT and business counterparts to resolve any issues around the solution and ensure a successful delivery.
- Takes responsibility for self development and that of any direct reports, actively seeking and providing feedback and responding accordingly.
- Owns resolution of testing issues, identifying and managing mitigating actions against risks as directed by the Test Manager.

- Displays good awareness of how the wider external environment impacts on role and the business and the financial services sector
- Understands the organisational standards and is compliant with all policies and processes
- Utilises all available tools to gain the best results eg Online applications, Microsoft office
