Business Test Analyst - Commercial Banking - Edinburgh

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Test Analyst to join on of the biggest banks currently operating in the UK market. The successful candidate will be asked to support a wide range of projects under a large portfolio within the banks Commercial Division on an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to strengthen their career with a leading bank in a senior position and will be a stepping stone into leading teams and managing project down the line.

In order to be considered for this role candidates must have the following skills and experience:

- Previous Business Acceptance Test (BAT) experience with a large banking client previously
- Proven ability managing medium sized projects or a number of small projects under the one release
- Proven ability to manage production of Scope, Test Plan, Project Plan, Scripting and End of test Report documents
- The ability to produce estimates and manage budget against those estimates
- Ability to communicate test progress and produce Daily and Weekly MI reports for senior management and steering groups
- Strong communication skills and able to engage with senior stakeholders and suppliers to progress the testing that the Test Analyst is responsible for at any given time

It would be highly desirable if candidates have the following experience:

- Insurance product knowledge.
- Experience of managing a small team of direct reports (ie test analysts in a large project or release)
