The ideal candidate will be a highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment and will have experience with all aspects of the software development life cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the business by becoming the Subject Matter Expert for assigned applications and act as a point of contact with clients.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and develop appropriate documents as a part of the system development life cycle.
- Interface with vendors and technology teams to understand product integrations and high level business configurations to define technical requirements.
- Create test strategies and test plan documents; Execute Test Plans.
- Assist in documenting communication, training and deployment plans.
- Assist in documenting end user documentation and provide training and demonstrations sessions as necessary.
- Analyze change requests to determine feasibility in relation to existing business requirements, processes, and data models
- Deliver work and solutions on time and in a team environment that builds trust and respect with both IT team members and business.
- Work with other technology teams, internal and external, on technical integration, upgrades, and other application work.
- Perform configuration changes for packaged applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least four (4) years as a Business Technical/Systems Analyst working with both IT and business teams.
- At least two (2) years of leading software life cycle development.
- B.S. in Information Systems or Financial or related field required.
- Proficiency with SQL statements. (Oracle DB plus.)
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Project.
- Experience with workflow applications a plus.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
- Ability to understand & analyze complex data concepts and calculations
- Ability to build strong partnerships with business clients and technology teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience developing charts and diagrams.
- Persistence and ability to follow up.
- Ability to work with data and data analysis tools to answer business questions and create reports.
- The ability to multi-task and to be effective on multiple projects at once is a must.
