Business Technical Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION

- Technologies supported by this role include: ASP.NET; Oracle DB; MS Access; SQL Server; Share Point; JavaScript as well as a variety of vendor packages.
- We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working in an environment where open ended problem solving is often required.
- Analyze business requirements/processes and system integration points to determine appropriate technology solutions.
- Work with business partners to elicit requirements in a non-technical manner.
- Design, code, test and document applications based on system and user requirements.
- Troubleshoot applications (web, desktop, Client Server, mobile) developed in-house or purchased from software vendors.
- Work with third party vendors and company's hosting partner as needed to resolve.
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment with minimal direction.
- Adjust priorities as needed.
- Validating that requirements are being met in technical designs and software deliveries
- Implement enhancements to custom developed solutions as well as support applications using a variety of technologies
- Strong customer focus and communication including follow up with internal clients about completed tasks to ensure client satisfaction
- Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple applications
- Documentation skills including non-functional, functional, business rule, and business processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Attitude most important (open to new challenges and problems) 20 application you would be working with, never know what will happen next
- 5-6 years of technical experience
- Need someone that does not need a defined role, jack of all trades, open to do anything
- High level customer service, fixing any and all problems in all different departments
- Write and deploy code (ASP.NET, SQL Server) must be comfortable working with it but not an expert
- Experience with SharePoint security, site management and some administration knowledge
- The ability to research and analyze new one of a kind problems while juggling on-going responsibilities is important.
- The successful candidate will be a quick-learning, self-starter who is detail oriented with a strong customer focus in working with our numerous business partners.
