Business Technical Analyst

Job Description:
This Senior Business Technical Analyst position primarily supports the customers and process that support our charge back system. This is a tool that is Excel macro based which contains volumes and charge back data our hosting, project, and mobile sync services.

Responsibilities include:
Translating business needs into technical solutions.
General application and business support.
Client interaction.
Answering business questions.
Working with the outsourced infrastructure team on issues, enhancements, and upgrades related to the system.
Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
Creating change requests and incidents.
Creating and/or reviewing technical documents.
Becoming the Accountability Model subject matter expert which includes performing a variety of queries and other data mining/processing efforts.
Learning current charge back processes and redesigning efforts to make more efficient.
Thought partner on next generation tool/design for the charge back process (charge allocation and reporting).

In this role, you will have the following opportunities:

SKILLS:
Required Experience:
3-5 years IT experience supporting complex database/data warehouse systems and/or decision support systems.
Finance systems experience.
Proven communication skills (written and verbal) that build trusting partnerships with business clients, technology team members, and other technology resources.
Have the highest degree of professionalism when working with business clients.
Analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
Time management skills/Proven ability to meet deadlines.
SQL writing required for Data Analysis.
Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly, solid ability to translate technical verbiage into easily understandable language.
Office Productivity Tools: Excel, Access.

Required Technology Skills:
Strong understanding of system development life cycle.
Visio expertise.
MS Office Suite expertise with an emphasis on MS Access.
Experienced testing background with a high attention to detail.

Preferred Technology Skills:
SQL.
Microsoft Excel/Access.

Education & Certifications:
B.S. in Information Systems Management or related field required.
