Business Technical Analyst

PROJECT SUMMARY:
This individual will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the team's deliverables and interacting heavily with the development, project management, and internal and external clients in order to plan test iterations/releases, mitigate risk, manage scope changes, define processes and ensure that the team adheres to these processes and ultimately ensure a timely and quality delivery of software and hardware deliverables for large scale system deployments.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- Help create, plan and execute comprehensive Field Test Plans (including scheduling) based on input from requirements, USIT, Supplier Management, Deployment and field execution.
- Document and communicate Field test results
- Creates installation and support process including test results
- Helps define processes and plans regarding software and hardware testing.
- Deployment and field execution.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED:

- 6+ years of experience in the software development industry, including 4+ years of hands-on programming experience, and 2+ years of Technical Project Manager experience.
- 3-5 years of software development experience.
- 3-5 years of software testing.
- 1-2 years familiarity with networking and networking protocols.
- 3-5 Years in a Project Manager role managing technical projects
- Excellent planning, communication, presentation, and organizational skills are required
- Experience with formal process methodologies, preferably related to testing and Software Development deliveries.

PREFERRED:

- Working knowledge of restaurant Point of Sales practices (order-taking, assembly, presentation).
- A strong understanding of restaurant operations and field deployment practices with the ability to understand and be able to prioritize the operational needs of the business.
- Several years of hands-on professional programming experience, as well as Technical Project Management experience.

EDUCATION:

- B.S Degree or equivalent required, preferably in Computer Science, or similar. PMP a plus
