GS1 Analysis - Business Technical Analyst (Consultant)

The GS1 project led by World Wide Supply and IT Supply Chain (IT Restaurants) is part of an initiative to introduce GS1 identification standards for Finished Raw Products and Trading Partner Locations into the Global Supply Chain. The current phase of the project maps the business and data process flows through the supply chain from supplier to distributor using the GS1 and GDSN standards. Subsequent phases of the project will involve assessing the impact of these future state process flows on existing business processes, automated systems, and organizational structures in order to develop a high-level plan for AoW implementation and adoption.

This candidate will both assist and drive the collection, documentation, and communication of project related artifacts. Additionally, this candidate will drive the evaluation/comparison between automated systems and business processes currently in place with AoWs and individual markets against future state models.

Responsibilities
Support and execute tasks related to the impact analysis working with AoW/market business and IT representatives
Support the definition of impact analysis scope and approach documents and obtain scope approval from Steering committee
Assist in defining/creating impact analysis templates and expected deliverables
Perform Business impact analysis of the proposed business changes (workflow/process, standards etc.) on existing AoW and Market functions as well as partners (DC's Suppliers etc.)
Perform Technology impact analysis of the proposed changes (workflow/process, standards, existing systems) on existing AoW and Market technology as well as partners (DC's Suppliers etc.) technology systems
Drive the clarification of information provided by AoW and Market subject matter experts.
Clearly document and prioritize all areas of impact using defined categories (change, cost, risk etc.)
In conjunction with the project sponsors and leads, provide recommendations on each area of impact
Define next steps for the GS1 project working with the project team and steering committee
Prepare impact analysis deliverables for presentation to the steering committee and support preparation of deliverables for the SLB and any governing body as required by the project IT and Business sponsors
Design high-level test scenarios, procedures and test plans to support implementation planning activities
Candidate must be able to work independently and be comfortable working with users with little technical knowledge.

Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years of Business Analysis Experience
Strong Business Analysis skills set with ability to understand and clearly document business and technology needs and requirements.
Strong business relationship skills. Should be able to manage relationships and with multi business clients. Must be able to maintain focus but also understand the various level of knowledge that exists within AoW and Market participants.
Should have strong written and spoken communication's skills
Ability to gathers business requirements by conducting meetings/interviews, and facilitate large-group/cross-functional sessions with customers. Ability to understand and translate requirements based on information provided.
Ability to develop testing strategies to support implementation and adoption of GS1 and GDSN standards
Strong Microsoft skills in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio (for workflow documentation)
Some project management skills related to work prioritization and organization of tasks to accomplish business prioritized tasks
Self-directed and creative
Supply Chain related experience a strong plus
Knowledge of and experience systems/processes utilizing GS1/GDSN standards a strong plus.
Experience writing SQL queries in order to develop testing scripts a strong plus
