Projektbeschreibung

Government body based in Melbourne's CBD is looking for a Business Systems support professional to join their team on a 6+ month contract. The position will provide technical and general help desk support services to both internal and external business system users, in so far as coordinating the resolution of defects with the appropriate vendor and managing user accounts.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of functionality and operational procedures for the current regulatory management and online application system for the purposes of providing managed help desk services to users.
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of functionality for the interface between the systems
- Assist with the establishment of the business system help desk environment, including service standards and performance measurements for delivering help desk services covering client and it's interface to the register and new systems
- Assist in transitioning from the current service delivery approach using Zendesk to use of Microsoft System Center Service Manager..
- Identify and report operational and functional issues affecting the successful operation and use of systems.
- Work with the Support the Business Systems Administrator in the coordination of business system changes including participation in documenting change requests, defining user and system requirements and preparing for and participating in user acceptance testing activities.

Skills Required for the position include:

- Demonstrated experience in the provision of business system support services to users with diverse capabilities and skill sets within a moderately complex business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly aquire knowledge of business system functionality, business processes and the operational environment of an organisation.
- Experience as an administrative and operational user of Microsoft System Center Service Manager.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including experience in communicating with and presenting information to both business and information technology stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with limited direction, and to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines and exercise professional judgement in a constructive manner.
