Business Systems Consultant - HL7 Healthcare

- Will work with the corporate sales team in developing optimal solutions for streamlining DME processing within a customers' particular environment
- Analyzes (external and internal) business processes and performs needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives
- Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements
- Lead client-facing discussions
- Simultaneously lead several complex projects with varied, multiple deliverables, team members and audiences requiring ongoing prioritization and relationship management
- Communicate project status information to all team members
- Create and manage timelines for all projects
- Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system
- Identifies project risks and creates mitigation plans
- Research and document detailed requirements in response to system problem statements. These requirements must be functional enough to be interpreted by end-users, and technical enough to hand off to a developer
- Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system
- Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business
- Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis
- Help enhance and improve department processes
- Follows Coporate Change Management process
- Creates training material
- Follows Incident Response processes and utilizes support tools
- Perform analysis and problem definition for production issues
- Investigates user problems and needs
- Identifies the problem source and determines possible solutions and recommended approaches
