Business Systems Analyst (Logistics)

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain)
Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands
Duration: 6 months

We are currently seeking candidates for a (intermediate) Business Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity based in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Experience of the Logistics, Freight, Warehousing industry is essential.

The role of the Intermediate Business Systems Analyst is to elicit, analyze, validate and document business, organizational and/or operational requirements and to create functional requirements packages; evaluate these requirements. Additionally, he/she supports system testing and provides the interface between IS and the functional organization.

Experience: Relevant experience of 3-5+ years

Skills:
Excellent analysis, investigative, inter-personal communication skills; knowledge of and experience in UML, UML and Use Case analysis tools, process modelling, object modelling, specification writing and business writing; broad knowledge of different business implications of the application and technology to the current business environment. Good presentation skills as well as knowledge of technology (oracle, J2EE) and the software development life cycle(RUP) and agile development methodologies.

Education Level: Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Computer Science/MIS or the equivalent of education and work experience is required.

This is an opportunity for a long term assignment with the worlds premier logistics organisation, working in supply chain management technologies.

We require fluent English language skills, both writen and oral, candidates who are happy/eligible to be based in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
