Business Systems Analyst Job

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Brea CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Business Systems Analyst will facilitates discussions with business process owners to capture and analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems and/or business processes and policies.
- Acts as the liaison between the business process user and the technical business system team for the technology developments.
- Coordinates with business and technology teams ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition and system techniques controls and related business documentation.
- Performs the analysis of business issues to be solved with automated systems
- May act as system application implementation team leader within a business process area
- May act as the project manager for a business system implementation
- Formulates and coordinates user and validation testing of business system developments with business clients
- Defines business process improvements resulting the appropriate business documentation and training
- Leads training on business processes and/or the use of systems for the business areas
- Develops and/or contributes to training plans and materials, test plans and materials, and other project related documentation
- Formulates/monitors project plans

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Critical thinker, self-starter, team player and the ability work on stand-alone tasks
- Understands importance of data integrity
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results
- Intermediate to expert experience with MS Office to include, Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
- Intermediate to expert experience with MS Visio, SharePoint and Project
- MS Excel experience to include frequent VLOOKUPS and common functions such as, data manipulation, migration
- Ability to write SQL queries
