DESCRIPTION:

To provide Business and Systems Analysis expertise for a range of medium to large scale Information Technology cluster and WSIB projects. Provide business analysis expertise for business transformation, re-engineering and business improvement initiatives. Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.

SKILLS:

- 5+ years experience in business analysis with a focus on business solutions and/or complex IT TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Social Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate leadership skills to achieve high performance and service levels
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively build relationships and influence decisions
- Excellent project management skill, analytical, problem solving and influential skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior writing skills to prepare/edit comprehensive reports, and other documents
- Excellent organization skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide expertise and support to the business throughout the enterprise by conducting in-depth analysis, summary, and recommendations.
- In collaboration with the various business areas, create and deliver BUSINESS PROCESS MODELS and other deliverables as required by the project.
- Facilitate and lead in-depth workshops to elicit, review and confirm business requirements, business process reengineering, data and workflows, business models, business rules and user interface design.
- Translate client business requirements into functional and information documentation, identifying alternative business design options and solutions; ensuring that the solution(s) satisfy all business requirements.
- Preparing and presenting project proposals, including financial analysis, cost estimates, terms of reference and cost/benefit studies for each option.
- Deploying business analysis techniques to identify relationships and patterns hidden in business process that might reveal areas of improvement within Enterprise, opportunities for targeting program services and process improvements.
- Lead and/or participate in project, forums, and working groups varying in scope and complexity.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of work completed by Business Analysts as well as peer reviews, providing feedback as required.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the business to discuss and resolve issues, understand current state and business processes, identify future needs and opportunities to fully support business needs.
