Business Systems Analyst

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry located in Ridgefield, CT.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work on more complex projects, mentor/train new hires (internal or external)
- Provide input with regard to support, validation or training requirements for any new process or application.
- Serve as additional resource to complete project-related tasks as requested by the PSC project leads.
- Responsible for completing tasks in the area of regional business process support, application validation and training.
- Interpret and clarify business processes, preparing support, configuration or validation documentation, preparing training material (user guides, FAQs, knowledge base updates) and problem resolution.
- Represent support/validation/training requirements on project teams and provide additional project support as requested.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS degree in drug regulatory affairs, drug safety, medicine, medical informatics, process and requirements engineering preferred but not mandatory.
- Five to seven (5-7) years of customer service experience or experience in an application support role.
- Five to seven (5-7) years in the pharmaceutical industry, to understand industry-specific requirements and business environment.
- Three to five (3-5) years in computer systems, software and/or application experience to understand user and process requirements.
- Two to four (2-4) years of project team experience.
- Two to four (2-4) years of experience in an international setting with regards to application support, training and validation.
- Expert knowledge of the supported business processes and the supported application system.
- Excellent knowledge of computerized systems principles.
