Our client is a hugely popular Northwest company looking for a highly driven, customer-obsessed Business Analyst who will be responsible for supporting strategic, demand generation programs. The successful candidate will be comfortable with writing and executing advanced SQL queries and have the ability to analyze results and build reports. This candidate will act as a liaison among product managers, Business Intelligence engineers and software engineers to gather requirements, develop reports and to execute ad hoc requests. Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams is necessary to succeed in this job. You are analytical and creative, and you don't quit until you solved the problem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Extract and analyze data
- Provide reporting to cross-functional partners including Product Management, BI, Customer Support, and Accounting/Tax and Finance teams
- Serve as liaison with Customer Support to investigate and resolve customer contacts
- Meeting and collaborating with business users on requirements and measures
- Developing operation support plans and executing ad hoc customer analysis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and 3+ years of relevant employment experience required
- Deep, hands-on knowledge in using advanced SQL and databases in a business environment and strong analytical skills
- Experience writing and optimizing efficient SQL queries
- Excellent communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions
- Strong analytical ability and demonstrated problem solving skills - need to be able to recognize when something looks out of place, figure out why, be able to explain it to users and partner effectively to achieve the desired outcome
