Business Systems Analysts study the overall business and information needs of an organization, in order to develop solutions to business and related technology problems. A Business Systems Analyst's role is usually undertaken prior to the system design, building and programming stages of the systems development process. Works closely with clients to identify business needs and the costs and benefits of implementing a computing solution. Construct IT definitions based on identified needs of the organization. Work with other IT experts to address networking and hardware needs. Devise and document a general system design based on the client's anticipated requirements. Negotiate options with the client. 

Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities 
Defining business requirements, and interview stakeholders 
Define and build test plan/test cases, perform testing 
Build functional requirements/user stories 

Top 3 - 5 Required Skills 
Require 5+ years of IT analyst experience in a professional, engineering or related IT field 
Proficient at building business requirements and functional requirements (Usecases) 
To be able to develop test plan and testing cases, and perform testing 
Great communication, business skills, and project team skills 
Strong application development experience 
Understands both waterfall and Agile methodology 
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint) 

Desired skills 
Knowledge of SQL database and databases in general and can perform SQL quires for reporting and metrics 
Knowledge of Asset Management more specifically HP Asset Management is a plus 

Educational Requirement: BS in IT information technology or related degree
