Although good business analysis skills are required, the technical aspect of this role is hugely important as you will talk to the business to gather requirements and complete systems analysis - proposing and implementing solutions.
You will be responsible for analysing existing systems, and therefore be proficient in understanding SQL Server (2008) and SSIS. You will be able to apply business requirements, perform system testing and produce implementation document and support.
You will be liaising with an external development team - and essentially you will be bridging the gap between the technical processes and business analysis.
