This is a contract opportunity a highly motivated team dedicated to identifying, implementing, and supporting the best financial reporting solutions in order to create useful, timely decision support tools and processes for our client's large enterprise financial systems.

We are looking for a strong individual who will work within and support the business operations/data management functions of the enterprise reporting application, which supports all components of the organization. In this role, along with assisting with the design, implementation, and maintenance of scorecarding solutions, you will also ensure the integrity, security, quality, and support of the tools. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage his/her own resources as well as collaborate with other groups to deliver within tight timeframes. You must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills while maintaining a positive can-do attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze business operations including interfaces with various systems from data validation through reporting
- Assist with design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of scorecarding solutions - partner with Product Management around these areas as required
- Ensure integrity of all processes and data in financial applications maintained by the team
- Implement business controls/audits and review to ensure data quality
- Understand the various dependencies and relationships across internal scorecarding and revenue reporting applications
- Team with internal and external business contacts to proactively respond to data and system interface issues
- Collaborate with Analysis, Development, Test, Business Owners and Production Support teams to assist in the delivery of required system enhancements through SDLC
- Proactively challenge existing processes and implement changes as needed
- Perform business validation testing on tools and models as required
- Provide ad-hoc analysis, support, and solutions as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BA/BS in Finance/Information Systems with 2-4 years relevant experience required
- Strong system analysis skills and experience
- Passion for technology a must
- Advanced PC skills
- Exceptional communication skills: written, oral, interpersonal
- Ability to multi-task, deal effectively with ambiguity, and prioritize under pressure
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to utilize experience to improve processes and proactively drive opportunities to resolution without supervision
- Working knowledge of the SDLC and associated processes
- High attention to detail and ability to work within stringent deadlines
- Experience with OLAP, BSM, and implementing scorecarding solutions a plus
- Understanding of relational databases, knowledge of SQL Server (and T-SQL), OLAP, and SRS
- Strong understanding of financial processes
