Business Support Test Analyst - SQL/SQL Server

BUSINESS SUPPORT TEST ANALYST - SQL/SQL SERVER - GRADUATE TO 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
CIRCA €25,000 ANNUALLY
2 FIXED TERM CONTRACTS AVAILABLE. ONE 12MTHS, ONE 3-6MTHS.
The successful candidate will be part of the my Clients operations & IT team, reporting to the IT Support and Testing manager.
YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE:
- Act as the first point of contact in the investigation and resolution of reported system and website problems or issues.
- Liaise with third party suppliers to log detailed service requests and tickets.
- Create and maintain appropriate system user manuals and process maps as required.
- Define and document business and functional requirements for any system or website enhancements identified based on input from users and stakeholders.
- Undertake test related activities in support of issue resolution or business requirements for the provision of new and updated systems.
- Prepare and maintain relevant test documentation, including test scripts, activity schedules, narrative and written reports.
- Undertake user, functional and integration testing and liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure appropriate test coverage.
SKILLS REQUIRED WILL INCLUDE:
- IT related Degree or relevant professional qualification and experience
- At least 6 months to 1 years' experience working in a business analysis/test or support environment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in SQL/SQL server
- Familiar with general IT related competencies (infrastructure or applications).
- Good at acquiring an understanding of a problem or situation, and developing an approach to interacting with the situation.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for the liaison with departmental staff and senior management.
- Good planning and organising skills.
