Business Strategy Consultant (Proposition, Finance, Asset)

Business Strategy Consultant (Proposition, Finance, Asset) required to join our financial services client on an initial 6 month contract, based in London.

The selected candidate will join an existing function tasked with scoping potential business opportunities within the Asset Finance Market.

This is a hands on role that will require experience of all aspects of investigating, developing and gaining buy in for a complex business proposal. Your role will include market and financial analysis, development of a business case and presenting to senior level stakeholders within the business.

In order to be successful in this role, applicants should have demonstrable experience of the following:
*Identifying potential business opportunities within the financial services industry (eg growing a product, moving into a new market, merger/acquisition activity)
*Market Analysis (including making use of your own network and prior experience within the financial services sector)
*Financial analysis and planning, including the ability to clearly identify and communicate costs and potential benefits of any proposal
*Development of detailed business proposals
*Ability to present your proposal to senior level executives
*Ability to inform business strategy
*Strong knowledge of the financial services sector
*Highly numeric, ideally with a background in finance/accountancy

This role will require a confident individual who is capable of taking ownership for the full range of tasks above, taking responsibility for recommendations to the business. Previous experience within a consultancy role will be highly beneficial.
