Business Solutions Manager (50%) - Pharma

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a BUSINESS SOLUTION MANAGER with strong experience in PROJECT MANAGEMENT on the business side with good understanding of Global IT projects (business applications and processes).

This is a PART TIME (50%) CONTRACTING role based in the Basel area and planned to start ASAP until end of February 2018.

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

- During this project you will have to cover 2 different projects (one which is in the beginning phase and the 2nd one which is already in live phase)
- The scope of the1st project is to align all the global teams mainly in the US and EU
- The ideal candidate is someone who is able to communicate across global medical teams

TASKS:

- Lead and drive the project scope phases incl. all project management related activities
- Provide consultation to users in the area of business applications and processes
- You will report to the Head of Global Medical Affairs Informatics
- Efficiently align the communication flow between US and EU teams

IDEAL PROFILE:

- 5+ years of experience in general project management and/or business solution management
- IT knowledge
- Recent experience in a big Swiss based pharmaceutical company
- Excellent communication and stakeholders engagement skills
- Strong experience in leading and driving project scoping phases
- Good ability to drive cross-functional and global team members
- Experience in providing consultation to users in the area of business applications and processes
- Proactive, open minded, able to work autonomously, leading without authority
- Fluent in English
