Business Solutions Architect

Job Title: Business Solution Architect
Job Type: Contract
Location: Wiltshire
Contract Rate: up to £415 per day
Working in the Programme Architecture team within Enterprise Development which has a challenging mandate to architect solutions within our large change portfolio and ensure the solution delivered matches it.

The Role

-Accountable for defining the Architecture Solution Outline for major programmes and projects including:

business process engineering,
operating model work
You will act as a design authority to ensure that the delivered solution is consistent with the approved architecture vision for the programme
You will work closely with Enterprise Architect colleagues to understand and deliver the agreed strategic outcomes for the Solution
Armed with up to date industry knowledge you will manage the resolution of Architecture risks & issues, dependencies and impacts to minimise risk whilst offering continual enhancement to existing processes

The Person

You will be a credible architect who can shape the full lifecycle approach of the solution whilst providing oversight, strategy and direction to executive stakeholders within the programme
You will have widespread experience of solution architecture
You will evidence excellent communication skills and exemplary behaviours in communication and collaboration along with a drive to improve both yourself and your colleagues
You will be able to demonstrate proven stakeholder management and influencing skills up to the senior executive level
You have the ability and desire to quickly comprehend the functions, capabilities and benefits of new operating models and technologies
You have a serious grounding in architecture and have used architecture frameworks and methods to successfully deliver change as a solution architect
You will be analytical with a wide exposure to and experience of architecting and delivering business change, including
organisational
systems
business process
multi-disciplinary, cross-functional change.
You will deliver solutions that provide optimal Business and Customer outcomes, whilst maintaining the required commercial focus, considering the impact of the Target Operating Model, the overall product, distribution and brand strategies, the current and future business capability.
You will have or quickly gain understanding of our business roadmaps and operating models including our sourcing approach. Deep experience of a relevant business domain will be valuable.
