JOB DUTIES: This individual will define, direct and supervise social media projects as assigned, that include managing client-hosted communities, branded social media channels (twitter, facebook, google+, LinkedIn, etc.) and client sponsored events and campaigns relating to social media in a B2B environment.
Individual will have day-to-day responsibility for establishing the plan to meet both marketing and social media goals for a variety of projects that require working closely with customers, internal marketing teams, external (OEM/ISV) partners, and contracted agencies to deliver desired results.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- IT Audience/Experience: Ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge, experience and understanding of Information Technology or related business audience
- Social Media Experience: working knowledge and experience of social media (or related transferable media) skills, ideally with B2B, including community, channel or demand generation implementations
- Skills Training/Coaching: experience training others as bloggers, industry speakers or social media practitioners
- Program Management: strong, proven program management track record in business environments across complex projects.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- B2B, IT, experience working across diverse geographies and partner organizations
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once, prioritize Real Time
- Established expertise and use of social media tools
- Experience working with IT facing communities
